With Nina and Anders from Norra Ängby School in Stockholm
On February 24, we were delighted to welcome to our school two outstanding teachers from Norra Ängby School in Stockholm, Sweden: Nina Ladopoulou-Lundqvist and Anders Runhellen. Their visit offered a wonderful opportunity for meaningful exchange of educational experiences and ideas. In a warm and friendly atmosphere, we discussed our school practices and daily routines, shared thoughts and good practices, laughed together, and quickly developed a sense of familiarity—as if we had known each other for a long time.
During their visit, we gave them a tour of our school and classrooms, while they introduced us to their own school and their everyday teaching environment. One particularly inspiring moment was listening to a beautiful song about their school, created by the students and teachers of Norra Ängby School. This creative idea impressed us greatly and inspired us to consider creating our own school song as well. Of course, the experience also included tasting traditional Greek and Swedish treats, adding a delightful touch of cultural exchange to our meeting.
This visit marked the beginning of new collaborative plans, as together with Nina and Anders with the support of the school principal, Mrs. Annika Svalstedt, we are already exploring future partnerships through the European programmes Erasmus+ and eTwinning. Once again, through our school’s European networking, we experienced how education can build bridges between people from different countries and backgrounds, creating a vibrant exchange of knowledge, experiences, and culture that goes beyond borders and distances.
